What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maximize long-term specification acceptance in assigned territory through relationship development with key architects and specifiers
- Prepare and update specifications for projects in the A/E/C industry upon request
- Participate in writing new master specifications for the firm's library as needed
- Identify and manage a qualified pipeline of large strategic opportunities, following projects through to hand off to the sales team
- Collaborate closely with Neogard Segment Managers and Account Managers to engage key strategic end users
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS in Construction Management or Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Civil), or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of direct experience working within architectural market channels
- Proven sales and relationship-building experience
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- In-depth knowledge of flooring, waterproofing, and roof coatings
- Solid understanding of the technical side of commercial roofing, codes, and approvals
- Knowledge of competitive bidding and specification building
- Membership in CSI (Construction Specifiers Institute)
