What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive product acceptance and growth through targeted education and strategic account management
- Execute territory sales strategies to meet or exceed objectives via in-person and virtual communications
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare providers and advocacy groups
- Collaborate with internal partners including managed care, marketing, and medical science liaisons
- Uphold the highest ethical standards in accordance with FDA guidelines and pharmaceutical best practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree in science or related field AND a minimum of 4 years of commercial pharma/biotech or related experience, including 3+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales objectives in complex environments
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory and enforcement environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong sales and account management disposition
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record; should reside within the geographic area of the assigned territory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in science or related field AND 2+ years of similar experience
- Experience with business systems and salesforce automation platforms such as Salesforce.com or Oracle
- Psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic experience
- Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional teams
- Adaptable and effective in managing change in performance-based environments
