What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead a new sales initiative to identify merchant entry points for long-term expansion and shape go-to-market strategies
- Understand merchant decision-making processes and convert insights into effective sales approaches
- Navigate complex sales cycles and collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine sales strategies
- Maintain accurate CRM data and forecasts while taking ownership of opportunities from initial contact to growth
- Travel domestically 1-2 times per quarter for events and offsite meetings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4-6 years of SaaS sales experience with a proven record of growth and success
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and create new paths for success
- Proficiency in sales tools such as Salesforce, Gong, Clari, Outreach.io, and Clay
- Strong understanding of pipeline management and forecasting
- Experience in a startup environment and familiarity with building sales processes from the ground up
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Shopify, e-commerce, and the post-purchase ecosystem
- Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn new industries and business models
- Strong emphasis on data cleanliness and CRM hygiene
