What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the first Account Executive focused on vertical expansion and define strategies for growth
- Identify merchant entry points to unlock long-term expansion and shape go-to-market strategies
- Learn merchant decision-making processes and translate insights into effective sales approaches
- Navigate complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders while maintaining CRM data integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine sales strategies based on real-world insights
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4-6 years of SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of success
- Ability to work independently and build strategies in an ambiguous environment
- Experience with sales tools such as Salesforce, Gong, Clari, Outreach.io, and Clay
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills
- Experience working in a startup environment and navigating rapid growth phases
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Shopify, e-commerce, and the post-purchase ecosystem
- Natural curiosity and a desire to learn about new industries and business models
