What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party public and private payor, facility, and provider enrollment and credentialing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for credentialing-related questions and requests both internally and externally
- Develop and maintain relationships with third-party payor credentialing counterparts
- Track and provide timely updates for all credentialing applications
- Partner with Payor Contracting and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) departments for reporting and analyses
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in credentialing or a related area
- Experience with New York Medicare & Medicaid and other third-party New York payors
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and OneNote
- Prior experience in Healthcare, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Credentialing, or Medical Billing
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
