      NPI Procurement Manager

      For our Global Procurement, we are looking for an NPI Procurement Manager, based in Bratislava.

      This role will be responsible to support the R&D and production, under the procurement point of view, for our new products.

      Responsibilities

      - Implementation of the NPI procurement process, including workflows, interfaces, metrics and work plans to achieve operational objectives.

      - Responsible for procurement in NPI projects in internal facilitation and driving key objectives.

      - Recommend solutions to implementation issues and/or identify opportunities for improvement and present ideas to management.

      - Collaborate with global procurement and technology team. Supports communication on new technologies and/or supplier requirements to drive sourcing strategies from prototype to production to enable a rapid production process.

      - Maintains annual targets for both major work products/projects and career/skill development.

      - For the preparation and further processing of large amounts of data and material numbers from product parts lists, advanced experience in Power Apps and Excel is required

      The preparation of parts lists and material numbers, as well as the further allocation to the respective product groups for the NPI internal processes and their optimization, is one of the essential tasks of the requirement. The IT or process effort can be between 30 - 70 % of the task environment, depending on requirements.

      - Responsible for clear communication and facilitation of his/her NPIs to escalate issues in a timely manner, taking ownership of the work product.

      - Drive process and system improvements to improve procurement plan effectiveness, cost and compliance.

      - Where bandwidth allows and the need for new suppliers is evident, seek out new suppliers to introduce to the category team for specific projects.

      - Ensure appropriate supply arrangements are put in place in conjunction with the category teams.

      - Assist in resolving various supplier management issues during NPI projects.

      - Follow all governance processes and purchasing control systems to ensure compliance.

      - Procurement plan deliverables align with DS master data parameters and master data setup.

      - A hybrid work schedule model is possible, but weekly office availability is required as needed.

      Requirements

      - Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience. Certifications/Licenses:

      - Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM/APICS) certification is welcome.

      - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or 2+ years of project management experience preferred.

      - At least than 2 years of procurement experience.

      - Experience with global supply chains

      - Analytical thinking and solution oriented

      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (another European language will be a plus)

      - Ability to work with cross-functional teams on an international basis.

      - Advanced MS Office skills (in particular Excel and Power App)
