- Support assigned OEM’s during the release, price, promotion phase of transmission introduction, design and development
- Develop relationships with all levels of key OEM management and personnel
- Drive sales volume and growth to achieve Business Plan Objectives established
- Support regional sales teams and distributor personnel with OEM engagement responsibilities
- Represent Allison at Industry trade shows, exhibits, associations and meetings
- Support development of sales and marketing plans for the commercial vehicle market
- Provide input to monthly/annual forecasts and support Sales and Operations Planning Meetings for assigned OEM’s
- Present opportunities to increase market growth/development with target vocations, releases and strategic partnership opportunities with OEM’s
- Manage use of sales allowances, marketing budget, and other incentive programs
- Provide industry update of competitive threats
- Work with cross functional team to provide superior/exceptional OEM and end-user support
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to relocate if needed (this role is based in Indianapolis)
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Previous sales/customer support experience or Allison related experience
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills; able to lead indirect teams with influence
- Highly self-motivated
- Ability to demonstrate functional and technical excellence
- Ability to work collaboratively across all functions to achieve sales objectives and goals
- Ability to travel on a regular basis for company business
- Ability to build valued business relationships
- Organized, detail oriented, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Travel approximately 30%

The successful OEM Account Manager will manage customer accounts for Allison and ensure that we maintain and grow our business and seek new release opportunities with assigned OEM customers. The OEM Account Manager would be responsible for the development and execution of their OEM Account sales plans necessary to achieve Allison’s growth objectives. Responsibilities would also include providing input into the development of the market demand forecast and SOP sales demand forecast. Building cross-functional OEM customer relationships and engagement with OEM executives at trade shows and other customer / industry events, are other critical elements of the role.
