What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement training materials for child protection professionals
- Conduct needs assessments to identify learning requirements for staff
- Collaborate with quality improvement teams to evaluate training effectiveness
- Coordinate and manage trainer development and preparation for course delivery
- Lead programmatic teams and projects in collaboration with various stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education, or a related field
- Five (5) years of professional experience working with a Public Children Services Agency, including two years in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of Ohio's child welfare practice models, policies, and procedures
- Strong project management skills and ability to integrate learning science into training
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, education, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in child protection or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in developing training materials
- Expert knowledge of Ohio's Comprehensive Assessment and Planning Model (CAPM)
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects independently from conception to implementation
