      Brightstar Care is seeking a dependable, organized, and compassionate Remote Weekend On Call Scheduler to provide after hours support. The ideal candidate will ensure uninterrupted client care by handling caregiver call offs, scheduling changes, emergency staffing, and communication with caregivers, clients, and office leadership during weekends.

      The position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and strong problem-solving abilities.

      Duties
      • Answer all after-hours calls, texts, and emails promptly.
      • Respond to caregiver call-offs and staffing emergencies.
      • Find and assign qualified caregivers to open shifts.
      • Update and maintain the agency scheduling system.
      • Notify clients of any schedule changes when necessary.
      • Contact available caregivers to fill last-minute openings.
      • Document all weekend calls, staffing changes, and incidents.
      • Escalate emergencies to the Administrator when appropriate.
      • Ensure all client shifts are covered whenever possible.
      • Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, and office staff.
      • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
      • Complete an On-Call Report before the start of the next business day.
      • Follow all agency policies and procedures.

      Qualifications
      • Previous home care, home health, healthcare scheduling, or staffing experience.
      • Excellent telephone etiquette.
      • Strong computer skills.
      • Experience using scheduling software preferred.
      • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
      • Strong organizational and time management skills.
      • Reliable internet connection and quiet home office.
      • Dependable cell phone available throughout the on-call shift.
      • Must be able to make sound decisions independently.
      • Must pass a background check.
