What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review files for adherence to underwriting standards and ensure completeness of submissions
- Maintain customer contact to follow up on loan applications and manage client databases
- Act as a liaison between origination staff, underwriters, and customers to resolve file issues
- Provide administrative support in collecting and preparing loan applications with necessary documentation
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, keeping them informed throughout the loan process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Active MLO Licensing required
- 2-5 years of experience for Loan Officer Assistant Level 1 or 5+ years for Level 2
- Strong ability to analyze customer credit and financial scenarios to determine appropriate loan products
- Proficient in managing databases and maintaining customer contact
- Exceptional communication skills for discussions with customers, vendors, and referral partners
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in marketing to generate leads and loan production
- Familiarity with the loan application process and underwriting procedures
- Ability to effectively quote rates and communicate fees to the operations team
- Experience in preparing and submitting loan applications to processing
