What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide onsite supervision and instructional support to assist in the implementation of virtual learning services
- Support students in accessing virtual assessment sessions and ensure they have necessary materials
- Monitor student progress and collect data related to their performance
- Manage student behavior and provide communication support as needed
- Participate in meetings with the student's IEP team upon request of the case manager
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience working with students in grades K-8
- Ability to follow specific directions and oversight from teachers and special education personnel
- Strong communication skills to assist students effectively
- Capacity to monitor and manage student behavior
- Willingness to participate in IEP meetings as required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience as a paraeducator or in a similar instructional support role
- Familiarity with virtual learning environments and tools
- Experience with data collection and progress monitoring for students with IEPs
- Skills in behavior management techniques
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
