What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Resolve daily problems within the department during assigned shifts
- Assign, train, and oversee the work of others, ensuring accuracy and productivity
- Prepare and create reports for management use
- Monitor and process releases of information (ROI) and maintain records
- Schedule imaging orders and act as the point-of-contact for radiologists and technologists
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School graduation or equivalent AND three years of Patient Support Service experience
- Equivalent education and experience may be considered
- Ability to disclose protected health information (PHI) to authorized parties
- Proficiency in monitoring communication systems for incoming medical imaging
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in radiology or patient support services
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong communication skills in a clinical environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
- Experience with report preparation and data management
