What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support payroll seniors, analysts, and associates in weekly payroll processing and resolving complex payroll issues
- Identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiencies through audits and reconciliations
- Develop training and communication to deploy process improvements in payroll operations
- Mentor and train payroll analysts and associates to enhance team capabilities
- Serve as a "change agent" to promote best practices and technological advancements in payroll processing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience with multi-state/provincial full cycle payroll processing
- Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detail
- Foundational understanding of payroll including garnishments, bonus payments, and payroll taxes for the U.S.
- Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities
- Ability to lead, mentor, and coach peers and other partners
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations for Canada
- Experience adapting to changing technology and identifying process improvements
