What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer payroll processes and ensure accuracy of earnings and withholdings
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll inquiries
- Maintain accurate records for team members through the HRIS and benefit portals
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to complete audits and ensure compliance
- Identify and recommend updates to People-related systems and tools
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4+ years of experience in an employee-support role with a focus on payroll processing
- Multi-state payroll experience for an employee headcount of 100+
- Proficiency in one or more HRIS and Payroll platforms (e.g., ADP, Rippling)
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations related to payroll functions
- Intermediate Excel and Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables and common formulas
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions or multi-entity payroll processing
- Academic background in Accounting, HR, or Business
- Experience in training and mentoring staff in a People/work capacity
- Familiarity with Rippling platform
