What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical leadership for the Oracle PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 application, focusing on Payroll, Time and Labor, Benefits, and Absence Management modules
- Gather functional requirements from stakeholders and produce technical specifications and documentation
- Develop, support, modify, and test customized programs related to payroll, time and labor, benefits, and absence management
- Perform hands-on system configuration and troubleshooting for PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 modules
- Lead upgrade and enhancement projects for PeopleSoft applications and custom programs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field
- Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible professional experience, including at least two (2) years in lead technical work involving electronic business systems or application development
- Strong technical hands-on experience with PeopleSoft tools such as PeopleTools, PeopleCode, and Application Engine
- Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner
- Possession of a valid State of California driver's license may be required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 processes including Absence Management, Benefits Administration, and Payroll setup
- Ability to create and update technical documentation effectively
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices
- Experience in developing and implementing technical guidelines and governance frameworks
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
