      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop and maintain staffing forecast models and tracking systems to support workforce planning and succession strategies
      - Serve as the subject matter expert on data collection and reporting for staffing models and legislative requirements
      - Manage and analyze complex datasets related to crewing, scheduling, and training
      - Collaborate with Human Resources and stakeholders to ensure accurate data collection for workforce studies
      - Design and implement methodologies for accessing and reporting data from WSF systems

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Demonstrated ability to analyze complex transportation issues and develop effective, creative solutions
      - Advanced knowledge in conducting research and analyzing policies, laws, rules, or regulations
      - Expertise in developing data management strategies and ensuring data continuity
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint
      - Experience creating and modifying multi-level queries to produce customized reports from data systems

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Advanced level use of Microsoft Office applications and other analytical tools
      - Familiarity with staffing models and operational data in a fleet, marine, or transit setting
      - Knowledge of dispatching/reporting systems, such as AOSS
      - Advanced experience with software and web-based tools for analytical and data visualization
      - Bachelor's degree in transportation, planning, engineering, or related field
