What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Communicate with callers and respond to online inquiries regarding case status updates
- Accurately document information gathered from calls or online submissions
- Analyze situations and take appropriate follow-up actions as directed
- Multitask by handling various assignments while meeting required deadlines
- Collaborate with team members under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be available and punctual for scheduled work shifts
- Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in customer service, particularly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of the Medi-Cal Program, insurance claims, or medical billing
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
