What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist physical therapists in executing individualized treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions
- Conduct therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities under the supervision of a physical therapist
- Monitor and document patient responses to treatment, reporting progress to the supervising physical therapist
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and injury prevention strategies
- Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and functional
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Successful completion of an accredited physical therapy program and state licensure exam
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license
- Valid state driver's license
- AHA CPR certification
- Ability to lift, carry, pull, or push up to 100 lbs.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1 year of home health experience preferred
- HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred
