      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Research, draft, and update division administrative and operational policies and procedures
      - Develop and maintain tracking processes to ensure timely review of policies and procedures
      - Ensure compliance of policies with Federal and State laws and DES leadership expectations
      - Write and review various documents related to division policies and programs
      - Provide assistance to staff by performing research and problem-solving related to policies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s Degree in Public or Business Administration, Political Science, Public Policy, or a closely related field; or 4 years of experience researching, analyzing, coordinating, and writing policy documents
      - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in policy research and analysis
      - Knowledge of applicable Federal and State statutes, legal codes, rules, and regulations
      - Strong oral and written communication skills
      - Ability to prioritize and organize tasks based on multiple points of contact

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working with diverse stakeholders to develop policy documents
      - Familiarity with principles and practices of research, planning, and analysis
      - Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences
      - Experience in coordinating and structuring complex concepts into understandable formats
