What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Initiate, prepare, and confirm purchase orders, ensuring all stakeholders have necessary data and deadlines
- Track deliveries and manage the international shipment process for compliance and efficiency
- Conduct supplier forecast analysis to mitigate sourcing challenges and product shortages
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve supply chain costs and solve problems
- Perform market research to identify new suppliers and alternative raw materials, visiting potential suppliers as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA in Supply Chain or Logistics
- Minimum of 2 years of business experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and inventory management software
- Exceptional teamwork, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in building complex decision support tools
- Familiarity with web-based services related to supply chain management
