What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage contract life-cycle and administration, ensuring compliance and effective supplier relationships
- Participate in procurement project management teams to support contract compliance
- Conduct research, develop sourcing strategies, and issue RFP packages for medium to high criticality items
- Evaluate proposals, negotiate contracts, and provide recommendations based on supplier selection processes
- Mentor and oversee the work of less experienced procurement staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in procurement or contract management
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital document approval platforms
- Some travel may be necessary (25% or less)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in lieu of a degree
- 3-7 years of related experience, preferably in large industrial construction procurement
- Experience in multiple industrial market sectors
- Prior experience interfacing with clients and engineering entities
- Familiarity with document management systems like DocuSign and Adobe Sign
