What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in coordinating Teacher Appreciation Week, including donation requests and educator giveaways
- Provide support for small events or fundraisers as needed
- Help with newsletters and communication tasks
- Attend Board meetings and gain insights into nonprofit governance
- Collaborate with the Executive Director on various organizational tasks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency with basic digital tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
- Commitment to equity in education and an interest in literacy advocacy
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
