What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Achieve sales targets through consultative selling methods in the designated territory
- Conduct field visits to customers four days a week to maintain and develop business
- Identify solutions for customers utilizing industry and product knowledge
- Plan and execute account management to meet goals aligned with company vision
- Utilize CRM (Salesforce) for scheduling, forecasting, and documenting customer interactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in biological/medical sciences or related field with a minimum of 3 years of life sciences sales experience
- Thorough understanding of the scientific principles behind Bio-Techne products
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications and Salesforce (CRM)
- Valid driver's license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous consultative selling experience in a scientific environment
- Deep understanding of customer needs from prior lab experience
- Skilled in identifying and evaluating customer needs to recommend appropriate solutions
- Experience using CRM systems to document the sales process
- Intrinsically motivated with a competitive spirit and a desire to contribute to team success
