What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide level 2 help desk support to Infection Preventionists and Epidemiologists regarding NHSN protocol issues
- Offer subject matter consultation and technical assistance on healthcare-associated infections (HAI) surveillance
- Prepare and present educational trainings about NHSN to various organizations at national, state, and local levels
- Review data entered into NHSN to ensure quality and provide user support
- Develop training materials and assist with 508 Compliance testing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in public health surveillance, infection prevention, or epidemiology
- Demonstrated experience working with the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) or comparable public health surveillance systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Bachelor's degree in a related field
