What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media and influencers across business and industry
- Manage projects from concept through execution, including developing PR plans and campaigns
- Generate and edit various written materials such as press releases, pitches, and award submissions
- Participate in new business processes, including research and presentations at pitches
- Mentor junior staff and support team collaboration
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3-5 years of experience in a public relations agency or startup environment
- Proven track record in media/influencer relations and project management
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Strong understanding of social media channels and engagement strategies
- Ability to proactively manage client relationships and deliver strategic counsel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience measuring the ROI of communications activities
- Familiarity with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns
- Participation in networking events and industry-related activities
- Ability to generate creative and successful pitches
