What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain strong media/influencer relationships, proactively pitching to generate coverage
- Manage client projects from concept through execution, including developing PR plans and campaigns
- Generate and edit various written materials, including press releases and award submissions
- Participate in new business processes, including research and presenting at pitches
- Mentor junior staff while maintaining a professional attitude and supporting team dynamics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3-5 years of experience in a PR agency or startup environment
- Proven experience managing projects from concept to execution
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to generate diverse communication materials
- Ability to identify and leverage media opportunities for clients
- Experience in measuring the ROI of communications activities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Established relationships with key media contacts in business and industry
- Familiarity with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior staff
- Active participation in networking events related to the industry
- Ability to generate creative campaign plans and PR programs
