What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the implementation of a patient-centric model involving physicians, clinics, and hospitals
- Develop and maintain strategic long-term relationships with Centers of Excellence and key health systems
- Serve as the authority on tools and resources to support physicians and healthcare providers
- Execute strategic business and account plans based on local market conditions
- Provide high-level clinical education around rare diseases and Neurocrine products
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree AND 8+ years of sales experience in biotech/pharmaceutical sales, including 5+ years calling on prescribers of specialized products
- Proven sales performance in specialty pharmaceutical or biotech markets
- Experience with business systems and salesforce automation platforms
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret sales data to identify business opportunities
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for frequent travel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree preferred AND 6+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in rare diseases and prior experience calling on Key Accounts and academic institutions
- Endocrine experience strongly preferred
- Previous start-up or market development experience desirable
- Passion for Patient and Caregiver Programs
