Job Description

- We’re looking for someone to manage the recoveries process on a portfolio of insolvency cases
- You’ll be working with restructuring, front-line and credit colleagues and other business units in the bank
- You’ll be able to really make this role your own, allowing excellent exposure for you and your work
- Engaging internal and external advisers
- Sharing insolvency exit knowledge with restructuring and front-line colleagues
- Maintaining an up-to-date awareness and knowledge of bank-wide policies
- Identifying, reporting, managing and mitigating risks within a defined risk appetite
- Insolvency, debt recovery, credit control and lending skills
- Experience of collaborating and communicating with stakeholders
- The confidence to work independently and drive change to enable continuous improvement
- The ability to deliver a principled, high integrity approach to achieve the right outcomes in conjunction with colleagues
- Adaptability to use continuously evolving systems and processes
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines

What you'll do
We’ll be asking you to coordinate with teams consisting of external professionals and other business units within the bank to make sure the strategy is implemented in a timely manner. You’ll also be required to communicate openly with all stakeholders and manage credit, legal, regulatory and reputational risk. What’s more, you’ll deliver effective management of the bank’s capital and risk weighted assets as well as support more senior colleagues when needed.

The skills you'll need
In this role, you’ll need to have strong relationship management and communication skills for dealing with stakeholders and the wider team. We’ll look for you to have an understanding of insolvency law and how it’s applied. In addition, you’ll need the ability to take a commercial view and identify the key components of a problem and suggest workable solutions.
