      Business Unit Overview Bob Evans Farms operates in multiple convenience foods categories within grocery and club. It holds #1 market positions in three major categories. This winning brand has been experiencing strong growth, a trend it's expecting to continue mostly through its leadership in the refrigerated dinner and breakfast categories. Bob Evans Farms products are distributed nationally in retailers throughout North America. Responsibilities This position is responsible for new business development for Bob Evans Farms, Inc. This includes identifying sales opportunities and analyzing appropriate, strategic business and industry drivers. The position also develops, implements, and manages a sales strategy to achieve aggressive sales goals. This person will be accountable to grow the current relationship / business with one or more of our top ten customers. Accountable for overall sales performance vs. plan (AOP delivery), revenue, distribution and margin targets for assigned territory of tier 3 accounts Grows existing business and develops new business by collaborating with assigned brokers and distributors in-territory Responsible for accurate demand plans and addresses gaps in the territory strategic plan Manages sales performance of a network of brokers and distributors covering tier 3 accounts; Serve asthe primary contact between Bob Evans Leads sales strategy execution with assigned brokers and drives performance against key metrics such as volume, item distribution, share Develops broker effectiveness and quality through training, coaching, support, and customer meetings and presentations Develops sales plans and strategies detailing how broker and distributors will achieve sales goals & objectives for the territory Develops promotional plans and tactics; responsible for planning and managing promotional spending/calendar Implement proven fact based selling techniques, analysis, and reporting, utilizing IRI (Information Resources Inc.) and other reputable industry resources to make recommendations and develop action plans Collaborates with various internal teams to create winning business propositions that be benefit Bob Evans and the customer (Category Management, Trade Management, Brand, Shopper Marketing, and ECommerce) Responsible for East and West regions Qualifications Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree required in business administration or related field. Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience or combination of education and experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to travel 50%
