      The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving maximum sales potential throughout their assigned territory by meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals and budgeted expenses. This position must uphold the integrity of the company by following its guidelines and meeting its expectations, goals, and mission. In working towards this, the Regional Sales Manager accesses company resources, tools, and products, and applies them to maximize sales potential measured by the region's performance.

      Location: Colorado Region

      What we will ask you to do:
      • Delivers and achieves budgeted sales goals for the region.
      • Communicates monthly depletion targets and programming calendars with wholesalers.
      • Maximizes sales potential measured by budget and by percentage of wines sold in that region.
      • Sets goals, oversees activities, reviews performance, and provides direction for District Managers in the territory.
      • Increases market demand and acceptance with distributor through targeting and opening of new accounts, increasing sales to existing accounts, development of account bases, and working on top accounts in each market.
      • Stays alert to distributor trends in the market.
      • Stays active in the wine community through frequent and positive networking with industry peers and key wholesaler personnel.
      • Works with their direct manager to develop and implement specific strategies in each market.
      • Recommends and implements decisions based on results of analysis that enhance the equity of the brands.
      • Recommends and substantiates budgeting needs, sales tactics and strategies, appropriate size of account base, pricing, on/off mix, etc.
      • Creates and manages monthly regional operational and sales budget.

      What you will need:
      • BA in Business or related field.
      • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in wine industry.
      • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
      • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
      • Advanced knowledge of wine industry pricing strategies and market dynamics.
      • Technology capable, especially Microsoft Office.
      • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
      • Must possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of state car registration, insurance, and a clean driving record.
      • Must be at least 21 years of age.
