What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive business development efforts within the assigned region, identifying and closing new opportunities through a consultative, value-based sales approach
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry stakeholders, and rep companies to support product promotion and market expansion
- Deliver technical and commercial support for complex projects, including product training and customized solutions
- Represent the employer at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities, actively engaging in presentations and seminars
- Monitor and analyze key projects, market trends, and competitor activity; communicate insights to leadership
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four-year degree in Business Administration, Engineering (HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical), Construction Project Management, or a related field required; MBA preferred
- At least 3+ years of manufacturing sales management experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturer's representatives, distributors, contractors, and engineering firms
- Experience in product training and presentations to customers
- Proven experience meeting company sales quotas and objectives
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with or knowledge of hydronic balancing valves and HVAC flow control preferred
- Highly organized, internally driven, team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel based on business and customer needs
