      MCR Safety Group, a Bunzl company is now hiring for a Regional Sales Manager based in North Carolina or surrounding area. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing strong relationships, generating and maintaining sales revenue from existing distributors within the assigned territory.

      This position will require living within the territory which covers NC, VA, WV, and MD.

      Responsibilities:

      • Consistently achieve or surpass assigned quotas and sales targets to drive overall team and organizational performance.
      • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives, including market expansion, channel development, and key account penetration.
      • Travel within the region on a weekly basis-typically four days per week-to meet with distributors and end-users, strengthening relationships and supporting sales growth.
      • Build, engage, and ultimately take ownership of end-user relationships across the assigned territory.
      • Coach, mentor, and support distributor sales teams to enhance product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and territory coverage.
      • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all sales activities within the customer relationship management system.
      • Develop deep product expertise across gloves, eyewear, and garment lines to serve as the primary product resource for customers and partners.
      • Participate in corporate-led distributor training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
      • Foster a positive, collaborative environment by maintaining open communication and a professional attitude with internal teams and external customers.
      • Contribute to special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
      • Analyze customer sales reports and territory data to identify trends, uncover new opportunities, and inform strategic decision-making.
      • Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned to support business objectives.


      Knowledge of: Sales and marketing techniques, computer and telephone operations, customer service and order procedures, outbound selling,

      Requirements:

      • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
      • At least 4 years' sales experience, preferably in the PPE industry at the distributor or manufacturing level.
      • QSSP (preferred) strong CRM aptitude. Familiar with Dynamics, Sales Force or other CRM tools.
      • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
      • Strong negotiating and presentations skills.
      • Familiar with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, ERP (SAP preferred), & CRM (C4C preferred).
