What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Own and execute the sales process for assigned accounts
- Achieve growth by spending the majority of the week in the assigned territory with customers
- Identify and close new business opportunities, focusing 60% on new business development
- Drive growth by increasing the utilization of TRAC chassis among motor carrier customers
- Provide local market intelligence and support sales planning and forecasting activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Account Management and Sales in the Intermodal or Transportation industry
- In-depth knowledge of the local market and competitors
- Broad Supply Chain experience with the ability to interact with executives in the Motor Carrier community
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including effective writing and public speaking
- Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn proprietary in-house systems and CRM software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven success in a collaborative solution sales environment
- Experience in preparing sales proposals
- Ability to prioritize and excel in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
