What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Achieve regional sales objectives, including revenue and expense management
- Develop and execute regional and territory business plans
- Direct sales strategies and implementation of marketing plans
- Build and maintain key customer relationships with target audiences
- Evaluate the performance of Clinical Account Executives and provide guidance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant industry/commercial environment (pharmaceutical, diagnostics, research products) as a sales manager
- Proven experience recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining talent
- Deep domain knowledge of the Diagnostic Services industry, with molecular diagnostic experience preferred
- Ability to engage in a consultative selling process and sell at the executive level
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience selling oncology-based tests and services to pathology and oncology clinical communities
- Understanding of the payor and reimbursement environment in oncology and diagnostics
- Strong administrative skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com for effective utilization in sales management
- Demonstrated success in managing financial dynamics within a commercial organization
