What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to identify their needs
- Prepare estimates and quotes based on sales guidelines and customer requests
- Provide technical support for all equipment purchased from the employer
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for the assigned territory
- Deliver accurate sales reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the heavy equipment or manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management
- Ability to operate equipment for demonstrations and training purposes
- Willingness to travel locally (80%) and overnight (20%)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of heavy equipment markets and competitor products
- Experience in negotiating and closing sales deals
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience with technical sales support
- Ability to learn quickly about new products and industry trends
