What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise operations of the Region, including hiring, training, coaching, and development of representatives
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business potential for the Region
- Maintain effective communication and support for all team members
- Conduct performance reviews and manage performance-related issues in coordination with Human Resources
- Coach team members on selling skills, product knowledge, and necessary capabilities for success
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of successful sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries
- Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate team members while leading through change
- Strong knowledge of products, disease states, and reimbursement programs affecting providers
- Effective planning and resource utilization skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as necessary
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Specialty sales leadership experience and product reimbursement experience
- Proficiency in software such as Tableau and Veeva, with the ability to coach the team on using analytical tools for sales insights
