      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage all billing and collection activities for assigned fee-for-service and third-party facilities
      - Stay informed about applicable CPT and coding changes, communicating updates to relevant parties
      - Travel to locations where the employer operates or plans to establish services
      - Utilize sophisticated automated billing systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
      - Operate independently while applying extensive reimbursement experience and judgment

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of five (5) years of prior medical billing experience or two (2) years of college plus one (1) year of healthcare experience
      - Extensive knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal/Medicaid, and commercial insurances
      - High level of proficiency in PC applications, particularly Excel and Word
      - Ability to work independently with demonstrated capacity in billing systems
      - Must pass fingerprinting and clearance from the Department of Justice and Office of Inspector General

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working with behavioral health billing and coding
      - Knowledge of additional insurance programs and state regulations
      - Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulations
