What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research, analyze, and resolve customer disputes, deductions, short payments, and credits
- Recover invalid short payments through root cause analysis and direct customer follow-up
- Manage high-volume dispute activity requiring fast decision-making
- Analyze historical payment and dispute trends and recommend process improvements
- Communicate directly with customers to resolve open items and secure payment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in A/R dispute resolution and managing large customer portfolios
- Experience with cash application research and analysis in a large organization
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and data analysis techniques
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate degree with strong relevant experience may be considered
- Experience working in a publicly traded company with GAAP and SOX compliance
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work effectively in a global team environment
