What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and ensure the timely completion of technical or operational projects, from planning to execution
- Establish technical requirements, define project deliverables, and communicate risks
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of program policies and procedures
- Provide technical advice to staff and other departments while overseeing related work
- Prepare and deliver performance status communications to all levels of management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor’s degree
- At least 12 years of related experience in the Department of Energy
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting a Cat II Nuclear Facility
- Documented experience with DevonWay/Ideagen
- Proven ability to perform management assessments and causal analysis
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience supporting D&D, environmental restoration, and 413.3B construction projects
- Experience developing and nurturing effective high-level internal and external customer relationships
- Documented experience in tracking and trending of Performance Assurance data
- Strong leadership skills in organizing and monitoring team efforts to completion
