What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Interact with customers via inbound and outbound calls, and requests through the case management system
- Provide support and education on purchasing programs, processes, and vendor performance
- Use computer systems to track and troubleshoot customer inquiries while maintaining service level agreements
- Work directly with distributors and manufacturers to resolve customer issues
- Support all purchasing programs and assist with special projects as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience with case management software and phone queue technology
- Completion of an undergraduate degree or equivalent business experience in customer service
- Strong knowledge of customer care techniques and processes
- Exceptional analytical, listening, and communication skills
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a call center environment
- Background in purchasing/procurement and/or hospitality/foodservice
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
- High level of integrity and ethics
