- Salary: $93,857.00 - $126,983.00 per year
- Eligible for an annual bonus incentive
- Manage end to end billing operations for complex NICU and transplant claims, ensuring accuracy from pre bill review through final resolution.
- Ensure compliant billing across DRG methodologies, including NICU weighted DRGs, MS DRGs, APR DRGs, and transplant global case rates.
- Oversee transplant episode billing across pre transplant, admission, and post transplant phases, including organ acquisition costs.
- Support high acuity and complex cases such as long length of stay neonates, ECMO, ventilation, specialty pharmaceuticals, multiple births, transfers, and interim billing.
- Monitor payer specific reimbursement policies, address denials related to level of care and medical necessity, and drive optimal reimbursement outcomes.
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
- 5+ years of healthcare experience
- 5+ years of data analysis
