What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct outside sales activities primarily in customers' homes and at trade shows
- Assess customer needs and develop tailored product recommendations and price quotes
- Present warranty and financing options to customers, ensuring clarity and understanding
- Engage in prospecting for new customers both within assigned stores and at industry events
- Maintain relationships with store management and associates to drive sales and awareness of HDIS offerings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a sales-related role
- Ability to travel locally and maintain access to reliable transportation
- Completion of a high school diploma or GED
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3-5 years of prior in-home or virtual sales experience
- Experience in the home improvement industry
- Proven success in lead generation
- Proficiency with technology and applications, including email and mobile devices
