What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain ongoing contact with agencies to enhance customer service and increase sales
- Measure success through key metrics including quotes, applications, profitability, and retention
- Implement a consultative selling approach to understand agents' business needs
- Collect and manage agency profile information, ensuring 90% completion
- Provide weekly activity reports and participate in departmental conference calls
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience
- CA Excess & Surplus License required (must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment)
- Excellent verbal and written communication and analytical skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- At least 3 years' experience in a Property & Casualty insurance sales capacity
- Proficiency with MS Office systems including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
