What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Recruit, develop, and lead a team of 5-7 Strategic Sales Representatives across a designated geography
- Build a sales team and nurture future sales leaders within the organization
- Develop and execute a business plan to exceed sales goals
- Manage the entire sales ecosystem from lead generation to closing
- Collaborate with the VP of Sales to contribute to the go-to-market strategy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading strategic sales teams
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets
- Experience in selling through security channel partners and navigating complex sales cycles
- Background in SAAS sales, particularly in cloud, logs, metrics, IT operations, and security
- Experience selling large deals to Fortune 1000 companies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in Cloud, Security, or Machine Learning
- Familiarity with the MEDDIC sales methodology
