What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement strategic plans to strengthen product specifications and drive alignment across project portfolios
- Build relationships with major owners and contractors to influence product selection and ensure ASC products are specified in projects
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive products to position ASC favorably in the market
- Serve as the primary point of contact between contractors and engineers during the specification process
- Collaborate with the Construction Technology team to enhance the company's engineering software and assist users
What is Required (Qualifications):
- College graduate with an Engineering degree; Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Proven experience in writing technical specifications for mechanical systems
- Previous technical sales experience in the construction industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel overnight as required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CSI Certification (Construction Specifications Institute) is a plus
- Experience in commercial construction industry
- Self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Located near a major metropolitan area for easy airport access
