What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive new customer acquisitions and expand existing OEM accounts through strategic sales plans
- Conduct prospecting activities, including cold calls and networking, to generate new business
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to meet customer needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions and monitor customer satisfaction
- Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and provide accurate sales forecasts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or related work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of technical sales or related experience in automation technology
- Proven success in acquiring new OEM customers and expanding sales in existing accounts
- Strong understanding of gearmotors, VFDs, and servo drive systems
- Willingness to travel 30% of the time for customer visits and training sessions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Documented sales growth history in a similar role
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with engineering teams and decision-makers
- Experience in managing complex commercial situations
