What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive new business growth and enhance profitability in existing accounts through market insights
- Serve as the strategic sales lead, consulting with business owners and executives
- Build and manage a pipeline through referrals and self-generated leads
- Deliver persuasive presentations that demonstrate how the employer's solutions meet client needs
- Travel within a designated territory to prospect and establish relationships with new local businesses
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 6 years of Merchant Sales experience
- Deep knowledge of the payments industry, including Interchange and gateway connectivity
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets with a data-driven mindset
- Excellent relationship-building, prospecting, and territory development skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in SAAS, Banking, Payables, and Receivables
- Proficiency in Salesforce as a CRM
- 10 years of sales experience, focusing on solution selling in Commercial, Mid-Market, or Enterprise spaces
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines
