What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead sales efforts for the employer's enterprise portfolio of payment processing solutions within the government solutions vertical
- Expand and grow existing accounts while prospecting and closing new government accounts within an assigned geography
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a strategic advisor to understand their business goals and industry trends
- Represent the employer's values by maintaining the highest ethical standards in client interactions
- Participate in RFP processes and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of experience in sales and/or relationship management functions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven track record in managing long sales cycles and engaging with C-Level executives
- Strong planning skills to develop and execute account strategies
- Proficiency in eCRM tools for tracking and reporting sales pipeline
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Government and Public Sector sales with tangible results in previous roles
- Background in the Acquiring and Payments Industry, particularly within dynamic, matrix environments
- Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills, with experience leading account strategies aligned with client growth plans
- Proven ability to build trusted advisor relationships at senior levels
- Experience in product management or related fields
