What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Achieve annual new revenue objectives through consultative sales to new clients and expanding service lines to existing clients
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified prospects, generating leads from various sources
- Develop and present recommendations to clients based on a consultative selling approach
- Assess and identify risk issues and needs for clients, recommending appropriate technical services
- Seamlessly transition sold clients to the designated client service/account management team
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Property and Casualty Insurance License is required and must be maintained
- College degree or a minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the insurance industry
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work well with diverse personalities
- In-depth understanding of insurance markets, products, and underwriting procedures
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to explain complex coverages
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with complex commercial coverage
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
