What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Greet customers promptly to create a welcoming shopping experience
- Assist customers in determining their needs and provide guidance on product selections
- Support management in implementing merchandising and operational procedures
- Ensure proper merchandise stock levels and maintain quality and presentation
- Operate the POS system efficiently, handling transactions and providing customer service
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Passion for horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer service
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including rain or shine
- Capability to multitask, prioritize, and work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, particularly in horticulture or home décor
- Knowledge of plants and gardening techniques
- Experience with merchandising and display creation
